I have been searching for my life’s purpose for what feels like the majority of my adult life. I’ve had bad jobs, bad bosses and bad relationships. And I’ve wandered around aimlessly trying to figure out what I was supposed to do to find this fulfillment that I truly believed existed.
I spent my first 5 years out of college working in the music business trying to find purpose. It was 5 of the most fun, and most reckless, years of my life. Ultimately, the music business wore me down and wore me out. Just as I was beginning the most stable and loving relationship of my life.
I moved from my hometown of Nashville, TN to Boston, MA to cultivate my budding relationship with Brandon. I was still grasping for that fulfillment, but I had a partner next to me supporting me and opening my eyes up to possibilities that I never thought existed.
Then in 2013, my world was rocked when Brandon was hit by a boxtruck while he was biking to work. He suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury, and it was unclear if he would recover or even if he would live. I thought my life was over.
But my life wasn’t over, and neither was his. Brandon woke up from his coma, and we fought day after day to regain some semblance of our life together. It has been a long and hard battle, but I am incredibly proud of Brandon and the work we did together and the work I did for myself. It’s work we are still doing to this day.
Experiencing a trauma of that magnitude and recognizing the preciousness of life has put me on this path of discovery. Of who I truly am and what I have to give to the world. I am discovering fulfillment.
I want to share my experiences and what I have learned along the way. To help others overcome their life obstacles and to find their full potential. To succeed in a way that they never thought possible. I want people to know there is more to life than being stuck, and that they can actually unstick themselves.
I truly believe that life is a journey - a series of steps and missteps that are leading you to where you want to go. I would love to support you on your journey and guide you as you take your steps.
